DAY 01: AIRPORT – MEDAN – BINJAI
After the welcome, we will take a short city tour and visit, among others: Mesjid Raya "The Great Mosque", the Maimoon Sultan Palace, a Chinese temple and the Merdeka Walk field. Then we will drive to Binjai (1hour) and check-in at Depary Homestay & Waroeng Transit. Binjai is called “Rambutan City” - if it is harvesting time, there is the opportunity to try the fruits of the rambutan tree (rambutan is related to lychee).
Overnight stay at the homestay.
DAY 02: BINJAI – BUKIT LAWANG – TANGKAHAN (B)
After breakfast and check-out, we will drive to Bukit Lawang. On the way, we will visit oil palms and rubber plantations. Arrival in Bukit Lawang near Bohorok ; here we go on a 3-hour jungle tour. You can learn a little about the Sumatra rainforests and see wild Orang Utans and other animal species.
In the afternoon we will drive to Tangkahan and check in at Mountain View Cottages.

DAY 03: Wild Sumatran Elephant Watching Tour (B-L)
Today we will take Safari-Jeep to go to Sumberwaras village. Then hiking will be the only option for covering the remaining distance. Local villagers from our Depary Adventure Team will be waiting for us at the village. They will serve as your guides as you embark on a short hike through the jungle and bushes. As soon as that happens, you will be able to see the free-ranging Sumatran elephant (our team there will confirm one day before where the position of wild elephant is). In the afternoon we will be back at the lodge.

DAY 04: Trekking to Watch Sumatran Elephant & Tubing (B-L)
After breakfast we will go for a 4-5 hours tour walking through the jungle while seeing elephants and tubing tour to Tangkahan.
In the morning you will begin your 3-hour jungle trek; if you're lucky, you might spot some wildlife, such as monkeys, (perhaps Orang Utans and Gibbons). It's time to observe elephants and perhaps snap pictures. Later we will hike to Buluh River (also known for its Butterfly Beach), where you'll have a picnic lunch and then explore the hotsprings and waterfalls.

DAY 05: TANGKAHAN – MEDAN/AIRPORT (B)
After breakfast we will drive back to Medan, or you will be taken to Kuala Namu International Airport for your flight to your next destination or home.
End of program.
